To unfold the walker, follow the instructions below:

  1. Lean the walker on its rear legs and push the grips forward until they stop.
  2. Lower the seat and fit it into the support tube.
  3. To adjust the height of the handles, remove the adjustment clip, adjust the height, and then reposition the clip to secure it in place.

To fold the walker, follow the instructions below:

  1. Pull the seat out of the support tube by pulling it upwards.
  2. Lean the walker on its rear legs and pull the grips until folded.

To mount the fabric backrest on one of the rollator, follow these steps:

  1. Place the anchor next to the corresponding part on the walker. The part is located directly below the handle’s adjustment clip and has a hole on each of its sides.
  2. While holding the walker by the handle with one hand, use the other hand to press the anchor on one side and try to fit the pin (the protrusion) into the hole in the walker part. You can move the anchor until you feel that side click and the pin goes into the hole.
  3. Once one side of the anchor is engaged, press on the opposite side to fit it. Make sure both pins are properly inserted into the hole and that the anchor fully wraps the walker.
  4. Make sure the anchor is secured by pulling it outward firmly. If the anchor does not come loose, repeat the previous steps on the anchor on the opposite side.
  5. Once both anchors are secured, pull on the backrest while holding the walker to check that it does not come loose, ensuring it is properly attached.

If the anchors are not properly secured, the backrest may come loose and the user could fall when leaning back. You must ensure that both pins on each anchor are well inserted into the walker. Before sitting in the walker and using the backrest, make sure both anchors are fully secured. Pull each one firmly and pull the backrest fabric outward to verify.

If you need to disassemble the backrest, it is advisable to use a flat-head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver tip on one side of the anchor and turn it to release that side. Once one side is free, simply pull the anchor to remove it completely.

The brakes have two positions

  1. Unlocked: To activate the brakes, pull the brake lever towards the grip.
  2. Locked: Lock the brakes by pushing the brake lever down. The brakes will remain activated, stopping the walker from moving until they are released by pulling the lever towards the grip.

This model is equipped with pressure brakes; here is how they work:

  1. To activate the brakes, the user must lean on the walker's handles or sit on the seat. Both actions will cause the rear tips to descend until they touch the ground and stop the walker.
  2. To resume walking, the user must stop applying pressure on the walker and then push the handles to use it normally.

11.- Useful life

The expected useful life of the product is 1 year in normal conditions of use, safety and maintenance. After that time, the product can be used as long while it remains in perfect conditions of use and maintenance. Some parts or components may in any event have to be replaced due to normal wear and tear within less than this time.

The warranty certificate must be sent to FORTA, S.L. together with a photocopy of the purchase invoice within 15 days from the date of purchase. To validate the warranty, the user must submit the warranty certificate bearing the stamp the seal of the outlet that sold the product. 13.- Tests and trials carried out

FORTA products comply with Annex IV to MDR (EU) 2017/745, are CE marked and have been designed and tested in accordance with UNE-EN ISO 11199-2:2021. Forta is obliged to certify compliance by its products with a number of essential requirements.
